We collect the information you give us when you create an account, manage events, build galleries, or contact our team - such as your name, email, studio details, billing information, and the photos and event content you upload to deliver your work.

Use of Facial Recognition Technology

Our AI face search is built only to help guests instantly find the photos they're in. Face matching runs solely on authorised galleries - and where available, on the guest's own device, so their selfie need never leave their phone. We do not build public or global facial databases, and we never sell biometric data.

Information Protection Measures

We use reasonable, industry-standard security: encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, PIN-protected and expiring links, and infrastructure monitoring - to help keep your galleries and your clients' private memories protected.

Data Disclosure and Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to operate the platform, when required by law, to prevent fraud or abuse, or with the people you've authorised to access a specific gallery or transfer.

1- About Bholi.ai Bholi.ai is an AI-powered event photo delivery and gallery platform built for photographers, studios, event organisers, and their clients. Our services may include secure file transfer, branded upload inboxes, photo hosting, facial-recognition-based discovery, gallery sharing, AI-powered organisation, and automated delivery workflows. For event content uploaded by a photographer, the photographer is generally the data fiduciary and Bholi.ai acts as a data processor, processing that content only to provide the Service.

2- Information We Collect

a) Account Information When you create an account or contact us, we may collect:

-Name, Business or studio name, Email address, Phone number, Billing details, Account credentials

b) Event & Gallery Data When using our platform, users may upload:

-Photographs and media files, Gallery information, Event details, Client metadata, QR and access links

c) Facial Recognition & AI Data To enable selfie search and AI-powered photo discovery, our systems may process:

-Facial feature data, Image embeddings, AI-generated recognition identifiers

-These are used solely to help users discover the event photos they appear in and to improve gallery experiences. We do not sell biometric or facial recognition data to third parties.

d) Device & Usage Data We may automatically collect:

-Browser type, Device information, IP address, Operating system, Usage analytics, Performance logs

3- How We Use Information We use collected information to:

-Provide, operate, and improve our services, Deliver AI-powered photo discovery, Organise and manage galleries, Authenticate users, Process payments, Provide customer support, Monitor platform security and prevent abuse, Improve platform performance and experience, Communicate product updates and support information We process personal data on the basis of your consent and the legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act.

4- Facial Recognition & AI Processing Bholi.ai may use AI face-recognition technology to help guests discover the event photos they appear in, through selfie search and automated matching. Where available, this matching can run on the guest's own device, so their selfie is processed locally and need not be uploaded to our servers.

By uploading selfies or enabling discovery features, users consent to the processing of images for matching and gallery personalisation. Face data is used only for the relevant event, is not used to identify people across unrelated events, and is not sold. We take reasonable measures to secure this data and restrict unauthorised access, and it is deleted in line with our retention practices, including when the related event is deleted.

5- Data Storage & Security We use industry-standard infrastructure and reasonable security practices to protect user data, including:

-Secure cloud storage, Access controls, Encryption in transit and at rest, Role-based permissions, Infrastructure monitoring While we strive to protect all data, no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed as completely secure. You are responsible for the access controls (such as PINs) you apply to your shares.

6- Sharing of Information We do not sell personal information. We may share information only:

-With trusted infrastructure or service providers required to operate the platform, When legally required by law or regulatory authorities, To prevent fraud, abuse, or security threats, With the users you have authorised to access specific galleries or events.

7- Data Retention We retain uploaded content and associated information only for as long as necessary to provide our services, fulfil legal obligations, or support platform operations. Account holders control the retention of their content and can delete events and shares. Users may request deletion of their data, subject to applicable legal or operational requirements and reasonable backup cycles.

8- Cookies & Analytics Bholi.ai may use cookies and analytics technologies to:

-Improve website functionality, Understand how the Service is used, Enhance platform performance, Personalise experiences You may disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function properly.

9- Third-Party Services Our platform may integrate with third-party providers such as:

-Cloud storage and infrastructure providers, Payment gateways (which process your payment details under their own terms and applicable RBI/PCI-DSS requirements; we do not store your full card details), Analytics tools, Communication platforms These services may have their own privacy policies and practices.

10- Children's Privacy Bholi.ai is intended for adults. In line with India's DPDP Act, a child means an individual under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly allow children to create accounts. Where event content includes photographs of children (for example, school or graduation events), the account holder is responsible for obtaining the verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian before uploading or sharing such content. We do not knowingly track, monitor, or direct advertising at children. If you believe a child's data has been processed without proper consent, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

11- Your Rights Subject to applicable law (including the DPDP Act), you may have the right to:

-Access information about your personal data, Correct or complete inaccurate data, Request deletion of your data, Withdraw consent, Nominate another person to exercise your rights

Raise a grievance about how your data is handled Requests may be submitted through our official support channels (below). You may also approach the Data Protection Board of India as provided under the DPDP Act.
